The Principals

Kathy Lingo, AIA, is a registered architect in Colorado and Illinois. She earned the degree Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1978 and practiced in Chicago for the first three years of her career. In 1981 she relocated to Colorado, where she has practiced ever since, establishing Architecture 2000 in 1987. Kathy was a charter member of Denver’s Cherry Creek North Design Advisory Board for fifteen years. When she is not practicing architecture, you might find Kathy sketching or doing plein air watercolor and pastel painting.

Leonard Lingo, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, is a registered Colorado architect. Following his honorable discharge from the United States Navy, Len earned the degree Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1978. He practiced in Chicago before relocating to Colorado in 1981, where he has practiced ever since. Len is a member of the US Green Building Council and a LEED Accredited Professional. When he is not busy in the studio, Len enjoys photography, hiking, managing the Community Garden, and flying private planes.
